Candidates must pass the physical exam listed below in order to be considered for the position of Excise Inspector, Examiner, Preventive Officer, Inspector, and Sub-Inspector in Narcotics.

NOTE: Persons with disabilities must meet the physical standards, including the height, weight, and chest measurements, set forth by CBEC for the positions of Inspector, Central Excise, Examiner, and Preventive Officer. However, the following physical test reservations are permitted for candidates with orthopedic disabilities:

(a) The test of “Cycling” shall not be insisted in the case of OA, OL, and OAL categories

(b) The test of “Walking” shall not be insisted in the case of OL and OAL categories
