NH 27 is one of the longest national highways that connect 7 states and 47 cities. It starts from Silchar in Assam and ends at Porbandar in Gujarat.

NH 48 is a major east-west highway that connects Delhi to Mumbai. It is also known as the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.
